This is my piece for ”City of Man”, a group exhibition about the city of Manila. The idea of it is just different artists and designers coming together to celebrate the idea of Manila.
I wanted it to be about how small we all are in the grand scheme of things and how utterly massive and foreboding and consuming Manila is. That stuff with that kind of depressing hullaballoo. I love Manila though (?) but it’s just this huge organism of horrifying potential sometimes.
It’s happening at The PocketUniverse Art Collective, 2nd Floor, saGuijo Cafe, 7612 Guijo St., San Antonio Village, Makati City. Come by and check out the group exhibition if you’d like. I’ll be selling prints and also possibly the nicely printed canvas piece of this art I made.
Featuring the works of: Vincent Africa, Kasey Albano, Janine Avenido, Edrick Bruel, Rob Cham, Carl Graham, Armelle Garcia, Pat Manlapas, Heinritzh Sales, Carlo San Jose, Christian San Jose and Tata Yap.
Poster by Carlo San Jose.

Here’s a poster thing I made for a thing for reasons.
On January 18, (Wednesday) De La Salle University is having it’s first Comic Convention at the Yuchenco Lobby over at their school. Budgette Tan (Trese), and Carlo Pagulayan (Planet Hulk, various Marvel Comics) and myself (this blog?) are guest speakers. It starts at 2:30pm and ends at 8:00pm
I’m the first speaker, and I’ll see you there I guess at around the time it starts. I’ll be selling my comics as well and maybe sketches? I have no idea.
Yay, comics!

Sputnik is going to Komikon and dragging me along with it.
They were kind enough to let me sell my comics with them so I made a poster for it.
I’ll be selling Stories Volume One and Two.
Komikon 2011, Let us go and support the local independent comics industry, my fellow internet brethren.
This just makes me want to make all my gig posters comics somehow.
Somewhat tried to rip off the first page of Bomb Scare by Adrian Tomine hence the panel layout then it turned into it’s own thing.
